Clearlake, CA – January 22nd, 2018On Monday morning, January 22nd, the City of Clearlake and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce celebrated the ceremonial ground breaking for Tractor Supply Company and Big 5 at the site of the former Ray’s grocery store. According to City Manager, Greg Folsom, “I’m pleased to announce Tractor Supply Company and Big 5 as the first two new tenants in the redevelopment of this property. We’ve been working on a number of site issues over the last nine months with the Carrington Company and they now officially have signed leases in hand and construction will be moving along. Tractor Supply and Big 5 represent the first major national retailers to locate in Clearlake in many years and they will help to create jobs and keep local dollars in our community.”A number of officials were on hand for the ground breaking, including City Councilmembers, Planning Commissioners, and Clear Lake Chamber Board members. Mayor Bruno Sabatier stated, “What a great thing to happen for Clearlake and Lake County. Tractor Supply and Big 5 represent the wonderful changes that are happening in Clearlake that will significantly improve our city.”Clear Lake Chamber President, Denise Loustalot, added, “I can’t believe I’m this excited about new stores in Clearlake. It’s going to be great to see the impact this has on the entire county.”
