Each year the city may apply for up to $500,000 from the CDBG General Allocation program or Economic Development program and up to $800,000 from any combination of the above. Grants are issued by the California Department of Housing and Community Development on a competitive basis, so the City has to apply for funding based on Notices of Funding Availability that are issued periodically.
The public is encouraged to provide input into this program to express their viewpoints. The public is also invited to inspect the public information files on the programs listed above at City Hall, located at:
